Tallaght took on Millmount House as they restarted their J4 league campaign after the Christmas break. Millmount House scored a try after four minutes when they broke from a five-metre scrum and forced their way over. The try was converted and that was the end of the scoring from both teams. The rest of the match was a truly dire affair. Stop-start and error-strewn, the frustration of both teams led to three yellow cards. The undoubted highlight was when the referee blew the final whistle to mercifully end a match that no one who witnessed it will ever want to remember.
